Romantic Wedding at Great Fosters for Angela and Chris

We had the pleasure of planning the wedding of Angela and Chris this Spring time at the gorgeous Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey. Great Fosters is a Grade One listed building set amongst 50 acres of stunning gardens and parkland. The day started at Alexander House with Angela and her bridesmaid spending the night before the wedding in the spa and enjoying a meal together before an early night was had. The morning was spent pampering by the fabulous Suzy and Kailey.

Angela and Chris had their catholic ceremony at the Friary Church in Sussex before travelling on to Great Fosters. The gorgeous corals in the bridesmaids dresses from Couture and Tiaras looked just perfect with Angelas stunning bridal gown that showed off her stunning figure from The Bride Shop. The sun was shining, the day was just perfect as we arrived at Great Fosters, ready for photos in the gorgeous grounds of such a beauty of a venue. The reception drinks were held in the Painted Hall and the terrace in the warm sunshine before moving into the Tithe Barn for the wedding reception.

I think you'll agree, the room looked stunning! The dark wooden walls were washed with amber lighting and curtains of pea lighting to create the perfect atmosphere from the team at Creative Spark. Angela and Chris hired in some gold wash chiavari chairs to compliment the look from Co-ordination Catering Hire. Angela has a great love for flowers and took so much time and thought in to choosing her flowers for the day. With the help of the talented Katherine Bly, the perfect blooms were created including this gorgeous table plan display...simply stunning isn't it? And the smell was divine!

The invitations and order of service were created by the talented team at Eagle Eyed Bride and helped us every step of the way! The pale blue tones, coral ribbon and touch of gold complimented the theme just perfectly.

Angela's attention to detail was never missed and more so with the wedding cake made by the award winning Emma at Wicky Woo Woo Cakes. All the flowers were handmade and matched the gorgeous displays created by Katherine Bly. For a surprise, Angela asked for Frank their well loved dog and family member to be included and he was...right on Chris' shoulder! It was important that the wedding guests had fun and this is where The Ambassador Band came up trumps! Such an amazing band that interacted with the guests so well. They really were so welcoming and that room was buzzing all night long!A big thanks to Angela and Chris for being such a fabulous couple and pleasure to work with. I am so honoured to call them friends after working so closely on our journey to plan the perfect day xThe photographer for the day was the amazing Paul Read - thank you for sharing your images.
